Top 5 lip products
Hello!!
Today's top 5 is lip products. I've already covered lipsticks so today is everything else that I love for my lips. Hope you all enjoy!
5. First on the list is the strawberry born lippy from the Body shop. First off this smells and tastes amazing!! It leaves a very subtle wash of colour on the lips and makes the lips feel really soft. I think I actually got this free with my Body shop reward card, I would definitely recommend getting one as there are always great offers going on.
4. Next on the list are the Nivea care gloss and shine. I've been a fan of these for years and years and always have some in my stash. I'm not a massive lip gloss wearer normally but these ones aren't too sticky or heavy on the lips and they have all hydrating benefits of a lip balm. The colour pay off is very sheer but I think that makes more wearable for day time. I've not heard much about these from other bloggers before but I can't really recommend them enough.
3.Next is the Tanya Burr lip glosses. I have the colours Vampire kiss and Aurora and really like both of them. I've wrote about these before so I won't go on about these too much but you can read that post here. Basically these are really nice glosses with great pigmentation. They taste like strawberry milkshake too, what more could you want in a lip gloss??
2. Number 2 are the maybelline baby lips. I was so excited when these finally came to the UK and they didn't disappoint at all. As a lip balm these are great, they leave the lips really soft and hydrated for ages so you don't need to re-apply very often. They also leave a lovely hint of colour on the lips and yet again these taste amazing. I have cherry me, pink punch and peach kiss and use all of them regularly. I haven't tried any of the others yet as I don't think they're tinted and for me that's most of the appeal but I'm sure they'd be good to use just as a lip balm as well.
1.Today's big winners are the Rimmel apocalips. These are basically liquid lipsticks which is a concept I really like. The colours are really bold and highly pigmented so the fact that they go on as a liquid makes them a lot easier to apply without making a mess! I have the colours Big bang, (a really bold, blue toned red) and Nova (a cool toned dusky pink) Big bang is my go to night out lip product as it doesn't budge all night and I like Nova for through the day. There aren't too many other colours in the range that I fancy trying but I absolutely adore these two so I thought they deserved the number 1 spot.
So that's all for today. Hope this has given you some ideas about new products to try. I hope your enjoying this series, I've really been enjoying doing it.

Nivea Q10 anti-wrinkle night cream review
Hello everyone!!
Today I wanted to do a little review about a recent purchase
that may have just turned into a firm favourite of mine. This is the Nivea Q10
plus anti-wrinkle cream. While I still hope that I’m young enough to keep the
signs of ageing at bay, lately I have started to notice a few lines creeping in
and as most women would do, I’ve been panicking!! Pretty sure this won’t be
helping, it’s a vicious circle don’t you know. This is why I have decided to
take action in the form of my very first anti-ageing night cream. I will admit
that I was sceptical about this at first; I thought that once a line was there
it was there for good but so far I’ve been really pleased with the results and
can safely say that my forehead crinkles have been disappearing before my very
eyes.
I always like my night creams to be richer than my daytime
moisturiser. Your skin repairs itself at night so I like to make sure that it’s
getting plenty of help. This one has a really nice consistency that leaves my
skin feeling nourished without feeling oily so you can go to bed without worrying
about
smearing cream all over your pillowcase.
I’m a worrier and probably don’t drink as much water as I should
so at some point I know that lines and wrinkles are inevitably going to become
more of a problem for me and I probably will have to up my game when it comes to
fighting them off. In the mean time however, I’m really impressed with this one
and at around £10 you can’t really go wrong.

Mini beauty haul
Hello everyone!
Today I was in town for the first time in quite a while and
needed to pick up a few things. Superdrug had a few offers on and like most
people I find it nearly impossible to just ignore them and ended up purchasing
a few extra things too. Naughty!
Firstly I was heading over to the Maybelline counter to pick
up my usual “the falsies” mascara when a sales assistant came over to me. I
would just like to point out that I don’t think this has ever happened to me in
Superdrug. It caught me off guard a bit and possibly lead to me buying what
I did. She told me about the new Rimmel scandal eyes rockin’ curves mascara. I
hadn’t heard anything about this mascara before but the wand intrigued me.
Rimmel had a 3 for 2 offer on which was just too tempting so I thought I’d pick
it up and give it a try. I’ll let you know how I get on with it.
While I was at Rimmel, I also picked up the soft colour blush
in Pink Rose. My relationship with blush has faltered a little bit lately but
this one looked subtle enough to just give you a natural flush without looking
too much. I think it’s going to be a nice way to re-kindle my love with blush.
The last thing I got from Rimmel was the lasting finish Kate
moss lipstick in 01. My friend has the matte version of this lipstick and it
always looks gorgeous but I felt that I would prefer this version, as it looks
a little less daunting. It is a very vampy, berry colour that I think it will be great
for the last little slice of winter. (may be slightly optimistic)
I then had a little wonder round the skin care aisle and
spotted a coupe of items that I really wanted to try. The first one was the
Garnier micellar cleansing water. The first thing that caught my eye was the
sheer size of the bottle. It was 400ml for £4.99, which I thought, was a total
bargain. I’ve never actually tried Bioderma but this looks like the same type
of product and I've heard nothing but good things about that. While I’m happy with my current cleanser I thought this would be
nice to use to take of my makeup before cleansing. I’ve also been finding my
skin quite sensitive lately and this is hypoallergenic so I’m very excited to
try it.
The last think I purchased was pretty much the only item I
went into Superdrug for in the first place. This is the Nivea Q10 anti-wrinkle
night cream. I’ve been neglecting my night cream lately and have been increasingly
paranoid about signs of ageing. I’m hoping that this will stop me from turning into a wrinkly prune. I’ve used night creams from Nivea before and always
really enjoyed using them. I’m looking forward to using this tonight.
So that’s everything I got today. Don’t think there was any
serious damage but I’m very pleased with what I got. I’ll keep you posted on
how I get on with them once I’ve tried them out a little bit.
