Valentines make up look
I kept my skin light and glowy (as I always do ha) by using my YSL touch eclait foundation. I also used my Maxfactor CC corrector stick under my eyes to get rid of any dark circles and then went over this with the the Rimmel wake me up concealer to make my eyes look nice and bright.

Summer favourites
Hello!!
Today I'm going to be talking you through a few things that I've been enjoying using through the summer months. Hope you all enjoy!
First up is the Dove essential nourishing lotion. I have the one for dry skin which isn't something I really suffer with but I always find they're a little bit more nourishing which I enjoy any way. This has the loveliest scent which really lingers. It's especially nice before bed as I find it really comforting and you wake up in the morning with silky soft skin.
Next is a strange one but something my feet are really grateful for in the summer is the micro-pedi. This is basically an electric foot buffer. It's a little bit disgusting I know but using this a couple of times a week in the summer months gets rid of any nasty, hard skin on my feet and leaves them smooth and sandal ready.
Next is my first ever Essie purchase and I love it. The colour is Naughty Nauticle and I think it's so gorgeous. It's a really bright turquoise colour that I've worn all the way through summer. It's bright without being too in your face and I think it's a little bit different from the usual summer brights. I find it lasts on the nails really well too, I'll definitely be trying more Essie polishes in the future.
Next is the mac lipstick in creme cup. I'd eyed this up on every mac visit and finally got it a few months ago. I've worn it nearly every day since I got it and think it looks nice with a smokey eye or just on it's own for every day. I was worried that it would wash me out a bit as it's on the paler side but it doesn't at all.
That's it for today. Hope you enjoyed this little round up and it's given you some ideas on new things to try.

Benefit bargain!!
Hello!!
I thought I'd let you know about a little beauty bargain I found yesterday. I had a little spare time before heading to the cinema (if any one wonders, I went to see planet of the apes and it was really good) so I popped in to Debenhams and stumbled across the Benefit counter. I'm always drawn to it over other counters because it looks so fun and girly. I've heard a lot of good things about the They're Real liner lately, it looks perfect for someone like me who, no matter how hard I try, can't master the feline flick that looks oh so cool. While pondering my decision the girl on the counter told me I could get the best selling They're real mascara and liner for £19.50 in their "the real steal set", they're both around £18 each so this was a real no brainer (I'm a retailer's dream). The liner isn't quite the full size but it's a perfect way to sample it before getting the full size.
I've only had a little play around with them so far but think I'll get on with them both very nicely. The girl gave me a top tip for the mascara and said that because of the ball on the tip to work vertically then horizontally. I tried it this way this morning and it made my lashes all flittery and fluttery like the butterflies in the picture (is that the cringiest sentence ever?) There's a little sachet of there matching eye make up remover which could come in very handy if they're as resilient as they claim.
I realise this isn't much of a review as I haven't had much of a chance to play around with them yet but I just wanted to make you aware of the offer. When I got mine there wasn't many left so run along to your nearest Benefit stand and bag yourself big, beautiful eyes in one bargonous set. Hope you enjoyed today's post and enjoy the products if you decide to try them. PS. What do you think of today's snaps, they're my first from my new camera! (More on that another day but I'm quite pleased with them.)
