What I Should Have Packed - Part Two

When I left to travel the world I packed a big bag and as it turns out I packed it badly. In fact I packed so badly that I had to write two whole posts about it. If you would like to read the first part (which I suggest you do) then click right here.
This time I'm talking more about the clothing items I wish I'd brought...

1. Warm things:
Turns out, Australia isn't always hot...who knew! I came away with two very thin and very casual jumpers. I didn't bring any hoodies or nicer jumpers and I didn't bring any blazers or jackets for evenings out. Melbourne has very mixed weather and there have been times when I've just been plain cold!

2.  Nice tops:
I brought t-shirts and then last minute one nice topshop cami (and thank God I packed I did because I've barely taken it off) In general I'm not a t-shirt girl so I don't really know why that's all I brought. I think I thought I would forever be on the beach....I actually live in a city with mixed weather.

3. Shoes:
I obviously fetched some shoes but it was minimal. The one pair I wish I had are my Topshop boots, unfortunately these are rather chunky and would have been too big to pack but there have been multiple times that I've wished I had them with me.

4. Leggings:
I'm actually not a massive wearer of leggings usually but I keep thinking how much I wish I had a pair with me to go underneath things. I have a really nice pair of wet looks that I wish I had too. These would have been so easy to bring with me and would have been a little bit warmer than all the pairs of shorts I have with me. At least leggings are usually cheap to buy so I can always pick some up.

So there we go...I have actually done a little bit of shopping recently and filmed a haul about it which you can watch here. There's still a few things that I'd like but I'd rather spend my money on more travelling and fun things so I don't know if I'll end up buying anything else.
I hope you enjoyed today's post. Make sure to follow me to see more!

The comfiest boots in the world!

Hello!!

Today's post is about the first pare of heels that I can genuinely say are comfy!! I've had shoes that I thought were quite comfy "for heels" before but the Topshop Hola Chelsea boots are like wearing slippers. I've actually managed to wear them through the day for long periods of time, something my poor feet can't normally tolerate. These are great for dressing down a more formal outfit or dressing up a more casual look, which has meant that they have very rarely left my feet since getting them. I payed £45 for them a little while ago but they are now in the sale for a bargainnous £25. The Suede ones are gorgeous too but my vegetarian ways meant I couldn't get those ones. I realise these won't be everyone's style (my mum thinks they're hideous ha) but I absolutely love them. If you want to pick a pare up for yourself have a little look here to see if they have your size!

Hope you enjoyed today's post, remember to keep popping back to see more.

Paris in Outfits: Day 4

Hello!!
This is the last of my Paris outfits. This day was quite chilled as we were flying back in the afternoon so just did a little bit of sight seeing whilst searching for the best macaroons (pretty sure we found them too). We went for a little stroll down the Champs Elysees and visited the Eiffel tower. Paris is such a pretty city, check out the view from the hotel room!! I hope you've enjoyed my outfits posts. I really enjoyed making them and would like to do more in the future so let me know what you think. I would like to thank my boyfriend/photographer for helping me make them, he's a good'un. I have a couple of other Paris related posts planned so keep checking back to see.

Paris in outfits: Day 3

Hello!!
Another outfit post today. This was a Disney day, which in my opinion is the best kind of day. I absolutely love Disneyland and had the best time. It wasn't too busy so we managed on get on all the rides and see a couple of shows and parades. It was definitely my favourite day of the trip. Apologies for the quality of the pictures in this post, I didn't take my canon to Disney as I thought it might get a little bit knocked on the roller coasters but I think they turned out ok any way, let me know what you think.

Paris in outfits: Day 1

Hello!!

Got something a little bit different for you today. As you hopefully will have seen from my last posts, I've been to Paris recently. As I'm writing this I've just got back home and I'm feeling a little bit sad to be back but I thought I would re-live the memories with some outfit posts. On this day we went to the Louvre. It's one of the most beautiful buildings I've ever seen and I love just wondering around and soaking up the atmosphere. Of course we seen lots of amazing art too, I felt very cultured!!
You may have noticed that my blog's had a little make over and I absolutely love the way its turned out. It was created by Jen at magic feather designs and she was absolutely brilliant. I would really appreciate it if you followed my blog, all you need is a Google account so it's nice and easy! Just follow the steps where it says followers, thanks in advance!

Wish list

Hello!!

Some months the money just doesn't seem to last as well as others, and typically those months I want to buy every single thing I see. #firstworldproblems I thought I would put together a little list of a few things that I'm really pining for in the hopes that I'll get it out of my system and won't bankrupt myself as soon as I'm payed.

Aaah Pro-collagen marine cream, it's truly the stuff of skin care legend and all I can think about is how beautiful this would look on my bathroom shelf. I've mentioned this beauty before but they currently have a 100ml version out for breast cancer which is double the size of the usual one. At £99 a pot this is by no means cheap but it is for a good cause so we'll see how spendy I'm feeling come pay day.

These cute, little shorts are from Zara and are a total bargain at £12.99. I haven't got any holidays planned for this year yet but the weather in England is currently really good so I would still get the wear out of them. I love the whole outfit in this picture to be honest and wouldn't mind having the legs to match, a girl can dream.

I've always loved a good kimono. I think they make any look fancier and it's always my go to look if I'm rushing out and don't know what to put on. Now long ones are all the rage I need one in my life and this one from Topshop looks right up my street. It has a beautiful pattern but I think the colours are subtle enough that it could still be worn with most things. I think I need this in my life.

This is another that may seem a little extravagant and to be honest it is but I've been thinking about getting canon for a while spotted the canon EOS 1100D digital SLR while on amazon the other day and they have a really good offer on at the moment. It would definitely still be a splurge but I have some amazon vouchers saved up and I keep telling myself it would be an investment! I still want to do a little but more research about this one to see if it's right for me but keep an eye out for beautiful pictures coming from this direction in the very near future.

Well that's everything. We'll see what happens on pay day but I'm sure once it actually comes around I'll have changed my mind about most things. Hope you all enjoyed today's post. I have a few ideas at the ready so keep an eye out on here in the near future and I'll be back soon.

Am I a trainers person?

Hello!!
Lately I've been umming and aahing about getting a pair of trainers. I know this isn't exactly a life changing decision but I think I was about 13 the last time I bought a pair and I don't know if there something I could pull off these days. I know my feet would definitely thank me for it, apart from my slippers I can't imagine then being in anything comfier. I have been having a little browse online at what I might like and thought I'd share them.
Puma Rio Speed £40

Nike Flynit lunar 2 £135

Adidas Tech Super Lithe £75
So these are the few that have caught my eye. I realise there all black but I think I'd get more wear of them that way. I'm mostly leaning towards the Adidas ones but that could change. I'll let you know which ones I go for!
That's all for now, Robyn xx

A few new purchases

Hello!! I've recently bought a few new fashion items and thought I'd share them with you. Hope you enjoy!!

This first top is from Zara. We haven't got a Zara where I live (sobs) but I picked this up on my trip to Edinburgh recently. This was only £17.99 and it came in a few other colours too. I've worn it a couple of times now and really like how it looks so I might have to make a sneaky Internet purchase for one or two of the others!

This next top is from Zara too. I don't know how well I've showed it in this picture (blogging newb) but the back of it was the thing I liked most about this one. It's sort of a dip-hem but a little bit more gathered. I realise that's a pretty poor description but you can rest assured that it looks very nice indeed! This one was £25.99 but because of the colour and quite simple style, I think it's something that I'll be wearing a lot!

This last one is from Topshop. After seeing this on a client at work I went on a mission to track it down! It was hidden very well but I finally found the last one in the shop that just happened to be in my size. Win! I think this is gonna be the perfect dress up/dress down item and I'm looking forward styling it. It was £36 which I think is pretty standard for Topshop but I absolutely love it and am so pleased I managed to snag the last one in the shop!

Hope you enjoyed this one, it was my first fashiony one so let me know what you think. I may do a few outfit posts at some point and I think these tops might make an appearance.
