Merry Christmas everyone!! Obviously it's still Christmas eve but as we'll all be busy opening presents and stuffing our faces tomorrow I thought I'd use today to share a few festive images and wish you all a Merry Christmas! I hope you all have an amazing day filled with happiness.

Yummy Festive Treats

 

Hello!! I've got something a little bit different for you today. Festive treats! These are all really quick and easy and will be great for last minute gift ideas or for party food.

 





First up are these cute snowmen. I made these last year for my brother and sister and decided to make them again this year as I think they look great and are so easy to make.

 

-Take a skewer and add 4 marshmallows (I found vegetarian ones on amazon by Freedom)

-Melt some white chocolate in a bowl and cover the marshmallows, I like to let it set and then repeat this so it's nice and even

-Once they've set for a second time you can decorate them, I used strawberry laces for the scarves and sparkly icing for the face and buttons

-Bish Bash Bosh, snowman on a stick!



 

 Next are these little reindeer. Again these are really cute and very easy (even though they don't look much like reindeer, meh)

 



 -Take a skewer and add a marshmallow (the ones I used were very small so I used 2 instead)

-melt some milk chocolate and cover the marshmallow

-before the chocolate has completely set add a pretzel to one side and a Smartie to the other

-Use some icing to draw on eyes and taa daa one little reindeer face!

 

 

 

The last idea are these festive rice crispy treats.They are Christmas tree wannabees as it turns out it's quite difficult to use the cutter once it's set. I've decided these could also be Halloween snacks if you took out the smarties. Don't be put off by the colour, they are yummy!   -Melt around 200g of marshmallows in a pan with some butter
-stir stir stir you don't want it to burn
add some rice crispies, I'm not sure how much I ended up using but I find the best was is to keep adding a little and stirring until your happy with the consistency.
-add some green food colouring and smarties and mix it all in
-pour the mixture onto a baking tray and flatten. Then pop in the fridge and leave to set, I added some silver stars on top for a bit of sparkle.

Christmas wrapping!!

 

 

Hello!! Look at all these lovely presents! I thought I'd share some wrapping tips with you today and how I've decided to wrap mine this year. As you can see I've mostly stuck with brown paper this year. Not only is it a bargain at around £1 per roll but I love the traditional, vintage look it gives. I always feel guilty for wasting money on expensive paper so I think this is definitely the way to go, obviously recycling after too. I then like to spruce them up with different ribbon and tags, you could even draw on some designs if your feeling a bit arty, sadly I'm lacking the talent for this! If gift bags are more your thing then check these little cuties out. I got these from Primark for around a £1 and I think they're brilliant!   Hope you enjoyed today's post. Hello!! I thought I'd share another little Christmassy makeup idea today. I think Christmas is the perfect time to throw caution to the wind and go a little bit glitter crazy. I like to go all out with dewey skin and lots of highlighter too, if you can't do it at Christmas time than when can you?!? You'll have to excuse the morbid expression on my face. I've never been one for selfies so I'm still finding it hard and very cringey, bare with me!!

The yummiest of body butters

  Hello!! I told you we were getting a bit festive over here. The Body Shop always does amazing things at Christmas time. I popped in on Black Friday as they had 50% off everything, can I get a whoop whoop! I was there to get a couple of Christmas presents but after trying out the glazed apple body butter I had to get that too. It smells incredible! It's very Christmassy but not in the standard warm and spicy way, it's sweet and tangy and lasts and lasts and lasts. Can you tell I love it? There's a couple of sets that include the body butter so if you wanted to try out a few of the glazed apple products, now's the perfect time. I would also recommend getting a Body shop loyalty card because the discounts are great, every time I go in there I end up coming away with a bag full of stuff for a total bargain! The Perfect Festive Lipstick

Hello!!   Mac Ruby Woo is by no means new on the scene but I've only just discovered it after picking it up in duty free on my way to Paris last month. I don't know why it's taken me so long to realise what a beauty it is. Now that it's in my life I know this will be my go to lipstick around Christmas time. I know some people are a little bit scared of red lips but personally I see nothing wrong with wearing it in the day with a clean eye or amping it up in the evenings with winged eyeliner or really pushing the boat out with a brown smokey eye. As it's blue toned it makes your smile appear whiter and with it being matte it doesn't budge on the lips. I would make sure your lips are nice and smooth before using it though as it will draw attention to any flakiness. Next time your near a Mac shop I would definitely have a look at this and you'll be sorted for Christmas time, now just all the presents to get!

A little Paris haul

  Hello!! I know I've done a few Paris posts now, I hope your not getting bored but I'm enjoying re-living my holiday through writing them. I thought I'd share what I bought while I was away with you. It wasn't really a shopping holiday but I did manage to fit in a few pharmacy's as I'd heard they were great for finding skin care gems and they definitely didn't disappoint.My boyfriend found it really strange how excited I was getting every time we seen one but they were always filled with shelves and shelves of amazing brands that were much more affordable than at home. Hope you enjoy!  

Mac Ruby Woo: I actually picked this up at the airport on the way out, can't resist a bit of duty free. It's a colour I've been meaning to get for ages, I can't wait to test it out on a few Christmas nights out.

La-Roche Posay Serozinc: I've heard so much about this stuff that I knew I had to get some when I was away. This has been raved about from loads of bloggers and as it's not part of La-Roche Posay's UK line I went back and picked up a second bottle.

Caudalie beauty elixir: I know you can get this in the UK but as I've never seen it in my city and it seamed to be a little bit cheaper in Paris I thought it was a good time to try it out. Again this has had a lot of hype behind it and from what I've used so far I can see why.

Loccitane almond shower oil: I've had this before and absolutely loved it so when I seen that it was a lot cheaper in France I had to get some. A little goes a long way with this and as I was lucky enough to get another bottle for my birthday when I got back, I am well stocked for the forcible future.

Disneyland (and my first youtube attempt)

 

Hello!!

Something a little bit exciting today, or at least I think so. I've made a little video of our time in Disneyland. It's literally my favourite place in the world (I've not been to Florida yet so that could all change) so I wanted to share my time there. It means I can watch it over and over again too and re-live the memories. Hope you all enjoy.

 

Paris in Outfits: Day 4

  Hello!! This is the last of my Paris outfits. This day was quite chilled as we were flying back in the afternoon so just did a little bit of sight seeing whilst searching for the best macaroons (pretty sure we found them too). We went for a little stroll down the Champs Elysees and visited the Eiffel tower. Paris is such a pretty city, check out the view from the hotel room!! I hope you've enjoyed my outfits posts. Paris in outfits: Day 3

Hello!! Another outfit post today. This was a Disney day, which in my opinion is the best kind of day. I absolutely love Disneyland and had the best time. It wasn't too busy so we managed on get on all the rides and see a couple of shows and parades. It was definitely my favourite day of the trip. Apologies for the quality of the pictures in this post, I didn't take my canon to Disney as I thought it might get a little bit knocked on the roller coasters but I think they turned out ok any way, let me know what you think.

Paris in outfits: Day 2

Hello!! Another Paris outfit today. This day we visited the Palace of Versailles. My oh my it is huge!! Seriously, it just goes on and on and is incredibly beautiful. If your ever in the area I would recommend having a look around and pretend your Marie Antoinette!
